Angie's EDIT #014
Your new weekly edit including; how I would dress if I worked in an office, smart trainers and a transitional dressing must have that I bet you don't have in your wardrobe . . . .
Dressing for the office; pick your silhouettes and stick to them. This will save you a lot of time in the morning when you are getting ready for work. Don’t over think it, I used to hate working in an office and having to think about what I was going to wear everyday, the last time when I did this I was 26 and hadn’t worked out what my style was and my wardrobe was a real mix, so I would just wake up and wear what I felt like that day, but sometimes by lunchtime I’d be hating it or feeling so uncomfortable mostly the later that I would go and buy a different top (I worked just off Oxford St in London) so you can imagine how dangerous this was if I was having one of those days. One of the biggest reliefs came when I went freelance and could sit at home in whatever I felt like and if I spilled something on my tee I could grab a new one and if I felt like changing I just had to pop next-door to my bedroom and if I wanted to wear the same jumper for a week I could without worrying that someone might notice, bliss. Also saved myself a fortune in lunchtime shopping.

I love everything about this silhouette and it would be a go to for me if I worked in an office environment.
It’s so simple but it’s the silhouette and styling that make it feel cool and effortless.
The over-sized fit of the jumper
The fresh pop of white at the collar
The statement earrings elevating the neckline from weekend / sports to thought about minimalist chic.
The boots completely elevate the whole silhouette and would be a great investment buy if you wear a lot of baggy trousers but never know how to smarten them up.

If like me you love a white tee, baggy trousers and *flip flop sandals then just add a tank and you are set for the office, love the high neck on this style by Massimo Dutti / 129 (14)
*Make sure the flip flops are nice leather ones

Swap those linen waistcoats from Summer for smarter styles but keep the softness with this beautiful navy wool style from Marks & Spencer, if it’s warm then style on it’s own, a little colder - with a tee and as the weather goes full unpredictable add a turtleneck / 45 (14)
