Angie's EDIT #022
Your new weekly edit including; my thoughts on dressing for comfort. When you are comfortable in what you are wearing it's very hard to end up . . . .
. . looking like your clothes are wearing you, clothes that fall into that category hardly ever make it into my wardrobe these days, and if they do they aren’t worn enough to justify keeping hold of for very long, so I try and avoid buying them in the first place. For day to day / the weekend, I find it very easy to dress but when I have to smarten up I’m very picky about what I end up wearing due to the fact that to put together a look that delivers aesthetically and feels good on the body isn’t always that easy. This edit is dedicated to comfort, it’s about looking pulled together whilst being comfortable with a nod to the practical, as we all know that when clothes feel good and you know that they look good, then you can forget about what you are wearing and just get on with your day.

Vanessa Bruno’s Marc wool jacket. This is one for anyone who likes the look of a blazer without feeling like you are wearing something too smart, you know how when something is lined it can feel like you’re ‘dressed up’ or wearing something that is smart / special and the first thing you want to do when you get home is take it off (I also feel this way about any heels that aren’t flat) I love this jacket as it looks like a blazer and is made of the softest wool and is tailored but it’s not lined, so you get that smart edge but in a super comfy and WARM way, which means you will wear A LOT, I promise.

One of those pieces that once introduced to your wardrobe, you’ll wonder how on earth you survived without it, always size up, I’d like to leave tight tank top in the 90s thank you very much.

If Philo has made you crave a bigger bag then Massimo has the high street answer, a bag you can comfortably fit your whole life in . . .
Speaking of big bags . . . this is firmly on my wish list

A co-ord knit is one of the most comfortable ways to look like you’ve made an effort. There are lots of sets with trousers in the mix but I think a skirt always feels a bit more elevated, just make sure you get the fit right and it skims and doesn’t cling, then add thick tights in the same tone and boots - the pair I featured above would work well.
*Psssst these pieces also come in navy, green, a stripe, black, natural AND purple.
