I’m writing this from Sydney, where I’m three jumpers deep and slightly resentful of every one of you basking in the heat. Sending it with the usual envy and a mental note to book a flight somewhere with a beach.

This week is a proper high-low mix. The high-street heroes doing all the heavy lifting, towelling shorts, easy silk trousers, the linen dress you’ll pack first, sitting next to a few designer pieces worth saving up for: the perfect wide-leg jean, a slip of silk, a metallic mini for after dark. Lots of brown and cream and mole, a flash of pink, and a bit of shine to finish.

Sizing note on every piece again, based on my UK 10 top, UK 12 bottom, and flagged wherever I’d size up, down, or where something runs small or slouchy. Shout if it’s helpful.
